Cool

Guys..Rather than showing me all these epic fails...you mind finding a place where I can buy the MFS cheap..I could find it for $370 at vwgenuine parts. Any one out there with a lower price!!!!!

Guys,

So I finally opened up the MFS. It does not look too bad. I still cleaned with CRC cleaner. It looks pretty clean now. The question now is:
If I want to check if it works after cleaning, should I repeat all steps and tighten it completely and then fix the mount and then try to check by turning on ignition. OR
Should I just insert the MFS and just try Ignition. Of course, the car is still on the jack and I am not taking it anywhere. I mean it won't hurt to not have the transmission mount and still try to see if the MFS works by turning on the engine and moving the transmission stick???

Tx

I wait for input before doing that.

Thumbs down New MFS Installed...still no reverse

I received my new MFS from Genuinevwaudi today.Installed it..And no change. All the transmission lights are still lit-up in the dashboard. No reverse. No change whatsoever.

Any ideas where to go from here? One thing that I would mention is that when I put it into reverse gear, I do hear a click and a little fluctuation in rpm!!
maybe change the tranny fluid/filter?
No codes on the VAG tool yet????

Any kind of ideas/help be greatly appreciated!

Tx
