My '99 A4's CEL was on so I had it inspected. I took it to a local shop and they basically told me it was due to the purge valve. They cleared the code and I scheduled an appointment with them for next Monday. So, I'm driving home tonight and the CEL came back on. They did a full service inspection and said everything else checked out great. Could this CEL be the same purge valve code or does it not do the same thing twice?

yeah, get to autozone and have them scan it.
