Looking at this because I have some money to spend at Stasis. Anyone do this upgrade and if so, what is it like?

i would get the COs instead of that. if you rly want that upgrade, pm manufan. he can make you washers will make your diff do the same thing as that $550 center diff from stasis.

you can actually diy for much less. you just need to swap the needle bearing in the center of the worm gears with a thrust washer of the same dimension and voila, 80:20 torque bias. i'm actually in the process of doing it myself, and will probly get a couple extra sets made, and could do the same thing as stassis for half the price. if anyone else is interested, let me know, so i know how many sets of thrust washers to make.

Here's the thing though, I have $500 i need to use at stasis and I can't really afford the extra $700 that COs would be. So essentially this new center diff is only costing me like 50 bones.

its a decent upgrade but if you dont also upgrade to a LSD in the rear you wont get full advantage of your power. it supposedly makes the car feel more rear-wheel-drive-like during cornering. there are DIY's and people that sell the washers for under $100 if you want to do that. but if you have the money to spend then why not.
