central locking vacuum pump help!!

Can I install a 99 Audi A4 CL vacuum pump in a 00 Audi A4 1.8t quattro?

It all depends on the CLP numbers on the back... if they match they'd have to be compatible to install.;)

Yes, the last number will give you a revision code. My pump is E, but there are pumps all the way from A-M...

thanx for the advice. If you know of a good site to find them please feel free to list it. Audi was going to charge me over $1000 to fix it. So I'm gonna take this one upon myself.
