Default changed CoilPack on 2.8 now it won't start at all

I have a 2001 2.8L 30v v6
I was getting cylinder misfires from 2 and (5 I think) checked the codes with my reader, So first thing I did was change and gap the spark plugs and the old ones were just 4months old and dual post plugs... but I changed them anyways and it didn't work.. still running like crap and my engine light still blinking. so let the car sit for 2 weeks, waiting for the new ignition coil packs...
I replaced the coil packs and the car was dead so i charged the battery and the car wouldn't start up at all.

Here is what i think the problem is... when I tryied to take the wire harness off, the black wire from that black box thing came off. I dont even know what to call it. it's bolted on a stud to hold down the coilpacks.
I'm about to take it in to a shop in another week because it's been sitting for a month and a half now... I'm getting tired of driving my ressurected sunfire and I need to pick up some honeys asap!
I'm waiting for a set of sparkplug wires because I got pissed and ripped them all off after it didn't work after several trys.

Clear and reread the codes.

that black box is pretty important. it may be why your car's not starting. there's probably no way to reattach it so you'll need a new one. i'm not sure where the other side is hooked up to but if you call the stealership, they'll be able to tell you what and how much. also call shokan.com

Ok I phoned the parts dept. at the VW dealership, and they said it was an static surrpressor, which makes sense. Any way they told me it, has nothing to do with my car not starting up. So then I asked them what would be a possible problem with it, and told me "I'm not going to fix your car over the phone... I don't know whats wrong with it untill you take it in(then we'll rape all your money) So, I need some help. Anybody can any suggestions at least? Or if there was a second fuse box that may be related the the ignition, or a relay pack because the spark plugs arent getting a spark when cranking.
