Default Check this out.

Ive been trying to build a 3inch intake for my 2.8 30v for bout 2weeks now. Im lookin into the whole intake, MAF, throttle body thing cause i have PES G2 plans in the future and on scaudi i found that the intake is a big restriction for the G2. Went to Pep-boys the other day n' found a buncha this stuff. And as you can see...then found it on jegs now too. Im thinkin a 90 out of the throttle body, then to a 45, a strait, MAF, Kn'N Filter. I hate that there really is no aftermarket Intake that takes care of the WHOLE intake. Im gonna order this and see how it comes out. I just have to see if the 4inch tall (3inch I.D fitting) 90 peice offered by Spectre on Jegs will fit infront of the second fire wall.

The fact i dont know who spectre is and that its at Pepboys makes me not want to put any of it in my Audi. But hey, if Edelbrock, Hurst and CherryBomb areare Pepboysthen i guess its all good.
Hummm. Gotta do oil change soon too...maby jegs has royal purple.

Checkers/Schucks/Kragen, Murray's, and Autozone carry them too. It's just chromed plastic tubing; there's nothing to be good or bad about it, so it should work fine. Spectre makes a mock-up kit. I suggest buying that, mocking up your intake, and then returning the kit. That way you can really experiment.
