Chipping
I own a 2000 a4 1.8t tip and i wanted to get a chip for it so when my buddy "tricks out" his 93 civic i can whoop his ass, only problem is i am short on cash and i amonly 16 and my dad cant figure out about the chip so it be too much of an increase in power. I was thinkin a 20 hp increase would be more than enough.

RE: Chipping
Do the diode mod, and buy my MBC!

RE: Chipping
get a chip from GIAC and get the flashloader. Then get stock program. The flashloader is handheld device that you can change the program your car's running. You can go back to stock so that no one knows you have it. (lol thats what I'm doing so my dad don't find out. I'm only 17) its big $$$$$ thouhg.

RE: Chipping
How much $$$$$ are we talkin cuz that sounds worth savin up for

RE: Chipping
GIAC, Unitronics, Upslute, etc, etc, etc. Check the noob guide at the top of the B5 main page. You'll never beat your buddy's Civic, though. The '93 with an exhaust and a cone filter easily run 10's.[8D]

RE: Chipping
good luck with the civic. Audi's are heavy as hell man, if you have the quattro race him in the snow lol:D
|
RE: Chipping
Why are you racing a civic in your audi? That seems like a conflict of interest. You bought a luxury car, he bought a beater car.

RE: Chipping
go to awe-tuning.com print out the instructions to pull the ecu... chip it with GIAC $500 <-best mod for your a4. dont do the diode mod.
