I got a stage 3 street series Southbend clutch from him along with a 15 lb Spec flywheel. He's good people, I wouldn't suggest going anywhere else to find a deal. My clutch is a little less forgiving than stock, but it's still fairly comfortable to drive in traffic. Tell him what you'll be using your car for and he should let you know what kind of clutch you need.
You may need a new flywheel too. I don't really know how to tell, but my car needed one when it came time to replace the clutch.

I suggest nothing less then Stage 3 for any 1.8t running a chip, K04 or even a Elim kit that is just used as a daily driver on the street. For pushing the car harder with an Elim I would suggest a SB stage 4 or going with a Clutch Masters FX300. For those that want to launch the car on the street a FX300 or FX400, drag racing stick with the FX400.

I have a FX300 or FX400 with Billet steel flywheel package on there that is nearly 22% off the CM retail price. A price you will most likely not find anywhere else since I work directly with my CM rep to offer the best prices possible.
All my clutch kits include ground shipping in the 48 states.

I can't remember the exact price I paid for the clutch and flywheel, but think it was around $800 or $900. I did the installation myself along with the much needed help of a friend of mine who happened to be an ASE certified mechanic. I would think professional installation alone would run you, at the very least, a few hundred bucks. This is not something you want to do yourself if you don't know what you're doing.
Don't mean to threadjack here, although it is quite relevant to the topic. Mike, what's the highest amount of hp or torque my stage 3 Southbend street series should be able to handle at the track? I plan on going big turbo but don't know how far I should go. Maybe this will help gedas429 decide on a clutch too.
SB rates their standard Stage 3 at 300 tq for AWD and 330 FWD. If you got the clutch from me its good for closer to 400 since the clutch kits SB makes for me are modified for more clamping pressure then their standard kits.
If you did get it from me you should be good for up to an Elim kit on pump gas if your talking road racing, but at that point I would suggest a Stage 4. For drag racing it is only going to be good for a K04/GT28r.
