Codes P1136 & P1138 Audi B5 A4 Help Please!
Hey Everyone!!
So, I have an annoying issue. Yes, I have searched the forums everywhere to figure this issue out, but from the looks of it, everyone posted on this issue, but never came back to tell what they did to fix their problem.
I have these two check engine codes come up P1136 & P1138. This is the procedure I have come up with to look into when diagnosing these codes.
So this is what I have come up with on the to do list for this:
1) Check EVAP purge valve (by air filter)
2) Check purge canister (between rear wheels, under the car, at the round cover
3) Check for vacuum leaks - any cloth covered hose, or non cloth covered air hose
4) Check MAF sensor
5) Check fuel filter
6) Last resort, check Leak Detection Pump, but according to a bunch of individuals, replacing this did no good...unless if someone can say it did fix the problem for them, it is going to be the last resort thing
Anyone with any ideas and who has already successfully fixed this issue, would be greatly appreciated.
We need to hear from people who have already fixed this please please please!!!!
Thanks !!!
