coilovers
I have a 98 v6 fwd I am looking for some good coilovers at a reasonable price can anyone help????? I was looking at tein basics but it looks like they only make those for the 4cyl fwd..My question is would it be the same if I bought them or is the suspension different from a 4 cyl to a v6?
I found some really good prices here:

well that site thatCCA4 posted had got pretty good prices but it depends on what you want to do.
IF you want to ust get your car lower and retain close to stock stiffness then I would get VMAXX coilovers which wil run you about $700us

IF you want a performance setup that is very streetable, I've heard good things about H&R http://www.eurosportdesign.com/pc-78...-shipping.aspx street sports, and also Koni and Stasis Street sports (which are tuned Koni's) All these setups will run you a little over 1k us to get.
then if you track your car and want full adjustability, I'd recomend something from Stasis or FK or H&R, or OHlins, or others. But these will run you 2k plus.
So it depends on what your goal for C/O is as to which ones you should get.

aren't ECS those adjustable perches that you screw onto the shock tube? I personally just don't trust that all to much. Personal opinion
Lol it slides over the tube rests on the same perch that holds the spring bracket and is kept from turning by set screws the threads on them are for height adjustment the new spring perch sits on big locking nuts.
I been using them for 4 years now no corosion of any kind on ECS parts they never turned at all and hight has never changed from my settings at all... so maybe youd have to see them in RL to understand how they work but proof is in the pudding and this pudding is just fine.
Ive drivin them across the country twice and up a mountain recently not to mention its my DD in a region known for poor roads and lots of road salt

yea, those ecs coilover sleeves are a joke, full coilovers or nothing
you are already going to spend some money on coilovers, you might as well save a few hundred more and get something with a reputation, like H&R,koni, stasis, vogtland etc etc
