Default Is this considered a good price for new tires and wheels?

I need to replace all 4 16" tires on my 99 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro and after looking around on tirerack.com, I've narrowed down my search to the following set of wheels (MSW Type 15):

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...amp;sort=Brand

and the following set of tires (BFGoodrich Traction T/A H):

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=Tracti on+T%2FA+H&partnum=055HR6TTA&vehicleSearch =true&fromCompare1=yes&place=5&speed_r ating=T&speed_rating=U&speed_rating=H& speed_rating=V&speed_rating=Z&speed_rating =W&speed_rating=Y&speed_rating=(Y)&min SpeedRating=T#Survey

The wheels cost $79 each and tires $89 each. I checked on eBay but couldn't find the wheels and the tires were a little more.

I've never bought wheels or tires for this car so really don't know if these are considered good prices or not. Are they?

yeah for 16s... if you're going to get a new set might as well go with 17s or 18s imo

Its my personal opinion, but fwiw i think those rims look very similar to stock 16's, definitely get at least 17 if you are going to upgrade; no need to pay for something you already have

Thanks for the replies guys. The thing is, I also have a 03 PT Cruiser with 17" chrome rims and the tires get bumps when I hit a pot hole because there's so little rubber in the sidewalls. I've had to replace a few tires in that car and I'm afraid that the same thing might happen with the A4 if I go with 17". Plus ride comfort will probably suffer as well, right?
