Im getting a popping noise when going over bumps or turning too hard am I correct to assume that this is the CV joints? What if any are other possibilities?

If it's the CV joints you'll know it when you take a low speed turn on the gas. It'll be a rapid clacking sound, usually on whichever wheel is on the outside of the turn. It could happen on bumps too if it's severe wear. It's possible that you have some failing ball joints too - is it always the same sound?

yeah just happened to me and got it replaced for parts and labor 200 bucks not to bad audi wanted 735

Not to thread jack or anything but my car just makes a really annoying squeal when i turn left at low speeds. What could this be?

 

mm yeah its the same sound sometimes the car shakes too but if I let off the gas for a second then re-apply it goes away. yeah when I take low speed turns then gas out it does make a clacking kinda sound like pop-pop-pop-pop until my wheel straightens out

 

sounds more like ball joints
