Cylinder 2 misfire CEL Any Ideas?

ok I NEED SOME SUGGESTIONS.

A4 quattro 2.8

I can't seem to get rid if this code. p0302
Also Idle bounces a little

Items replaced:
Coil Pack
Plugs/wires
ICM
MAF

I have sprayed for Vac leaks and cant find any...



please any ideas will help.

Like I said before I have replaced the plugs/ wires

Im getting desperate and called the dealership.

Here is what i was told....

98% chance its goin to be the heads...

WTF for a cylinder 2 misfire?

Have you actually checked the wires? There can be a short in there causing this. But since you changed everything else, the only thing i can think of is the wires to it or you have something wrong with the piston, but that is a long shot

yeah i actually checked the wires....

Could it be a fuel injector/fuel filter?

it could. Wouldnt hurt to take the car to have the injectors cleaned and replace the filter.

UPDATE

Had the Injectors cleaned and replaced fuel filter.


Drove 160 miles only to have the Cylinder #2 misfire again....


Now what?

Im not sure if this matters but I only feel the misfires it seems while its idleing.

I can see the rpms bounce a little.

im having the same problem. i keep geting an engine light then it turns off. kinda weird. ive changed all the air censor, dam they cost and fule fiters but i havent change the wires. I think thats what causing the problem, i will change them and let you know if that fixed the problem or if you change them before me. let me know, hopefully we can help each other and get rid of theis problem.

Does your car have an ingition control module? If so, that is likely the problem
