Damage Estimates?
So tonight I was out with some buddies and we hit a bit of ice and went into a jersey barrier. Hit with the front right around 30mph and crushed it in pretty good. Airbags never deployed which I was extremely surprised at considering we hid pretty solidly. I was just wondering what some parts and labor estimates might be for the following stuff:
Hood Front bumper Left and right fenders Crash bar Control arms Tie Rod ends Majority of front and rear suspension components fog light assembly lower half of bumper fog grilles fender liners airbox sytem sai system refinishing all 4 wheels buffing out the rear bumper and wheel arch I go back to school tomorrow so I wont be able to get any pics or see the car for the next 3 months which sucks big donkey dick. I was able to pry the fender back from the tire enough to drive it home but it was wondering really bad and my friend told me it looked like I was driving it sideways down the road. |
That really sucks
From all those parts I would say your getting close to totaling it out. $3-$4k+. If you do it yourself and buy the parts from a Shokan or AP-specialties then it would be a lot less. |
sounds totaled to me....especially if you bent the subframe as your friend thinks. Sorry man...that sucks. Even if its not totaled, I would say >$2000.

yea that's what some one was telling me when my car hit a tree. they said if my bumper shocks didn't line up when i put the new ones on then they would total the car cause the sub frame would be bent. i only have a dent in the rear quarter panel, but its still a good 1k+ damage.
from all the stuff you listed it sounds close to a total |
you busted the SAP but you don't need a radiator? you're look at close to 3k is you buy them from a parts car. it's def totalled. you'll probably get about 7k from insurance. you might want to rip the mods off the car now and look for another car. i don't think it's worth it to buy it back

Ya definitely totaled.
