Default DAS98A4's OFFICIAL Audi Hunt Thread (For those who care)

So a well-known AF member named Skythe suggested to me that I make one single thread for my Audi questions in regards to buying one. So, this is that thread. I will post multiple links below to craigslist ads that look promising, and little comments on some of them. For those who don't know, I'm looking for a 1996 and up Audi A4 within a days driving distance from Spokane, WA, my budget is around $3500 and I really, REALLY, prefer a 1.8T Quattro 5 speed. The turbo and 5 speed aren't neccasary, but Quattro definitely is.

PS: I haven't contacted most of these owners, so some of them might not even be for sale anymore. I am just looking for feedback.

THE ADS (in no particular order):

1. Price is kind of suspicious, but the car looks great:

2. http://kpr.craigslist.org/cto/2187064164.html

3. http://kpr.craigslist.org/cto/2132838558.html

4. Not a whole lot of info; I'll contact him if someone says something good http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/2182246368.html

5. Needs new paint job... http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/2180146993.html

6. The price really caught my attention, not in a good way http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/2179490006.html

7. Is the coolant leak a cheap fix? http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/2177639528.html

8. Diggin' it > http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/2178207046.html

9. http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/2157865077.html

10. Salvage title http://bend.craigslist.org/cto/2162732203.html

It may seem like a lot of ads, and that's because it is. I'm just trying to keep my options open considering I'm a first-time Audi buyer and kind of looking for something where I can tinker with the engine a bit. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I had a coolant leak, turned out to be a hair line crack in the expansion tank (coolant reservoir) got a new one for $40, fit it myself, all u need is a socket set.

I think you should definitely wait until you find a 1.8t manual if you can

I was waiting for someone to say that. That's probably what I'll end up doing. My ideal Audi on slight budget: 1999 A4 quattro 1.8t 5-speed. I would be soooo happy if I could find one for a good price.
