Question does seafoam actually work?

so i have been hearing a lot about this stuff and how it makes your car healthier and run better. so i was wondering if it actually worth putting in my 1997 2.8 quattro a4. i hav a few questions too like:

what does it actually do?

it wont hurt my car will it?

i would really appreciate if someone could clear this up 4 me

Better? Maybe. Faster? Prolly not. It all depends on if there is actually something wrong that SeaFoam can clean/fix.

i've read mixed reviews. on a high mileage engine, bad seals may be magnified. like any DIY, continue at your own risk.
