Ok so last question about my timing belt. I figured out everything i need to do the repair thoroughly. But now i need your guyss help. I went to order the kit on blauparts.com. And its asking me what size belt i need? The two options are...1872mm or 1885mm. How do i go about finding which size my engine takes? 2.8l 12v

 

i thought they go by how many teeth.....?

i can't find any details on size or teeth.. but i found this OEM part number for the timing belt... 078109119D (this was for a 1999 a4 2.8)

 

of course size matters, what a stupid question.
