Default Drooping headliner, best way to fix?

My headliner is drooping in the back and I'm wondering the best way to go about fixing it. I've heard spray adhesives don't work very well and the twist pins don't look good. What's the best way to do it without removing the entire headliner?

My headliner started to droop in the back last week as well. I've read using a steamer and a paint roller work well. You don't have to remove the headliner at all and are reheating the glue mixed with the foam dust. If you try the spray adhesive, you'll basically be spraying glue on dust and risk staining the headliner.

I'm still looking for the best method, but I think some type of steam gun will be best. It also ensures you're not drying it out at the same time.

Very interesting, I would feel a bit strange ironing my headliner though...

its really not that hard to remove the headliner and just recover it right. you just covering up a problem that's going to persist.

In this instance, using a steamer and a paint roller worked well and held up for a long period of time: Quick and Dirty Headliner fix! - Bimmerforums - The Ultimate BMW Forum

In this instance, it did not work nor did spray adhesives: Sagging Headliner steam fix: FAIL - Bimmerforums - The Ultimate BMW Forum

You would need a garment steamer, not an iron.

If I remove the headline wouldn't I have to get all new foam and new fabric? It's just drooping a little bit in the back

You would have to recover it after scraping all the old **** off. Jo Ann fabrics sell headliner material with foam but you don't need to use foam.
