ECM reflash cost at dealer? (po421/po431)
My girlfriend has a 2000 five speed and has recently got a check engine light. It was PO421 and PO431.
Of the three possible solutions for that the first one was make sure the ecm had the latest software. Boardwalk Audi in Plano TX is quoting $380 out the door to update the ECM.
This seems rather high for an ecm reflash. What should this be costing? Or is it really that much?

Called a few other DFW area Audi dealers and got quotes from $120-$140. I even called the dealer that she was at and got a $120 quote.
When she informed the person at Boardwalk Audi of this information she was out the door for $140. Dealers...fun!
CEL light is off and hopefully stays off.
