Electronic boost controller
I'm gonna do the ebc, something about the smoothness and wastegate staying fully closed until later appeals to me.
With the ebc, but before I do my turbo upgrade, can I turn the boost up a little and still be safe, how much can I turn it up safely? I figure I could turn it up 1-3psi max... chip is like what, 11psi max, so I can crank with ebc to 14psi? I don't know those numbers at all, just guessing... NE ways I'd just have to let it run before I turned the car off, right? (if I don't get a turbo timer)

I do have a chip (GIAC). so chip 18psi max, can I adjust to 20max?
will I even notice a different with a ebc? I think I would as the wastegate wouldn't open early right?

I've gotta think that somewhere in those boost ranges that little K03 OEM turbo is going to be going above its efficiency range and making a LOT of heat. I posted awhile back to see if anyone had a compressor map for the K03 but I didn't get a response on it. I know a lot of people are running high boost with them but I am curious as to when they peak out and begin to surge.
Yes you can run a ko3 to 20-22psi daily. The ebc will hold the boost much longer in the powerband than with the n75
It is almost impossible to find a ko3 map. However, the little guy is able to make power up to 20-22psi, above that, not to much w/o the aid of wmi to bring the temps back down to reasonable temps.

Great, thanks
I'll let you know how this goes when I do the install and such, I'll be ordering this and some brake stuff tomorrow morning
...that was "20psi is safe without watermeth" right?

i have the apexi avcr and its great. on my car i was able to hold boost much longer and there are more settings on nthat thing then i know what to do with. it also has like 7 different values that you can watch, boost, throttle, ... and then n3 different ways to watch them either in numbers, graphs, or dials.
