Default Engine Oil Sensor

I have an 01 Audi A4 and my Engine Oil Sensor light has been coming on in the past week. The car runs normally otherwise and I checked the dipstick, the oil is in the normal range. How hard is it to replace the engine oil sensor and is it urgent. Thanks.

The level sensor is the same as the temperature sensor which is the rectangle-ish thing at the bottom of the oil pan (at least for the 1.8... not sure about 2.8 - which do you have?)

I don't know if you're truly speaking of the oil level sensor or if you mean the oil pressure sensor which is different.

It's a 1.8. The light appears on the center screen I forgot what it's called. It had the engine oil symbol and says sensor. I checked the manual and it says it means faulty engine oil sensor.
