i have a 1999 audi a4 2.8 and i still dont understand whats the difference between facelift and the older model
please explain to me

If so, you have the 1999.5 instead of the early 1999 that came with two piece headlights.

 

i have two piece headlights, i dont know about the tail lights cuz they look the same to me
i also noticed that some people have fog lights in the vents on the front bumper. is this the only difference between the facelift and pre facelift?

There are a lot of differences but headlights/foglights are the most noticeable. Tails changed too, along with door handles, center dash, shifter trim, passenger door mirror, reverse-gear engagement (no more push-down), gauge illumination, a-pillar airbags, headunit, etc etc etc...

 

looks like i have the pre facelift

 

it's easy to convert to face lift though. start buying parts now!!! lol

 

is the 2001 1.8t power increased because they used the same tune as used in the b6? just curious about the power increase

 

I thought it was a remap to accommodate a change from a K03 to a K03S turbo.

 

dont convert anything.. facelift is GAY... theyre just jealous cuz their parts cost more money to replace than ours HAHAHA
