Facelift tail light question
 

So I absolutely hate my 96 tail lights, they look so outdated. Ive been looking around a bit but haven't really figure this out, so ill just ask. Is the painted rectangular piece directly under the tails removable? Like if I was to buy tails from a black S4 would I be able to remove it and swap my pearl white piece on to the s4 tail?

yes you can, any tails 96-01 A4/S4 will bolt in, you might have to do some rewiring if you want the correct bulbs to function at the correct times however

Lowers are removable, I still have the black trim from the tails that I purchased
