I used one piece of fuel line hose because it is thick and can withstand great pressure about 1 foot long. When installing your 004 there will be a thick hose running from your dv back to a metal pipe, I just used this and cut it to size. The opening for the DV fit the 004 perfectly and the other end obviosly still fits the pipe perfect, I just trimmed off all the excess. A billet plug which you can either machine or find something 1" in daimeter and clamps. Took 15 minutes to install.

what metal pipe? the dv is connected to the turbo outlet hose and the turbo inlet pipe. you just plug the TIP, and stick the 004 in the turbo out hose (the hose that connects your turbo to the intercooler piping)

I never understood how using quality parts and having things function well was ricerish. Its not like we are using the electonic sound or tailpipe peice. When you look like you use autozone as your tune shop is when the term ricer can be used in my books

I gotta say Nate, I've been thinking more and more of selling my R1 and getting the 004... even after we had that mega-argument about BOV's being for ricers and hondas [&:]

I think the premise was that I hated the application of a BOV for noise, but now I have a conflict of personas.

If I have a fast car, I want people to see it and hear it. It's like being Mike Tyson -- even with all of that muscle and grunt you can't be taken seriously with that voice.

That being said, I'm holding off on the 004 swap until I get a BAT setup [8D]
