Default Found THIS.

I know this is the b5 section but...

http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/cto/1662471781.html

I found this today. Needs a new head gasket. I'm not sure what that would cost but this looks tempting. I'd love a sleeper. I'm going to call the guy tomorrow to get more info.

I love old school Audis. It would look hot sitting slammed on BBS RS's.

Let us know how it goes.

it's the old V8 engine that pushes low 300 i believe. it's a drive wire cable, go for it. i think the coilpacks are the only things that may give you trouble like the other audi V8 engines

I'll let you know how it goes, I didn't put two and two together that a blown head gasket probably means the car has taken a beating. But the price is so tempting.

Coilpacks LOL, try distributor. That engine is a classic and its A PITA to work on, i still love it though. An old school audi mechanic that i know has one of those but he swapped in a newer 4.2L motor in his...with a supercharger. Now thats a sleeper.

I just spent 2 grand on my car the past two weeks on coilovers, wheels & tires. If I didn't I would have picked this up asap. If it doesn't sell within the next couple weeks I think I'll just take it.
