front lower valance and bumper

I literally got my car back yesterday, i got home today, pulled into my parking spot, and tapped the curb barely...the front lower valance came off, and the passenger side of the bumper cover fell half off...so here i am, rediculously pissed off...when i notice glue all in the bumper cover, and lower valance clips...some jackhole broke it prior to my purchase and fixed it incorrectly. so here i am in the bent over position... [:@]

How would you guys fix this? im going to drill into the original mounting brackets on the body and on the bumper cover and pop rivet them, for a semi perminant repair...the lower valance, i may make a new peice out of aluminum.

and just something else that bugs me, the trim peices above the lowest trim on the doors, is just rotting apart...anyone else experiance this? any hints or tips? im just really getting frustrated...the car was poorly maintained and its really showing.

same thing happened to me today, kinda. it was raining like you wouldnt believe so you know what happens wen it rains... :P you get stupid so at a deep turn i cut the wheel and downshifted and came through sideways and some a-hole in a mercedes thought he was in europe or something and came into my lane and almost t-boned me so i slamed on my brakes and the front of my car tapd the ground, and on my way home after that i heard a scraping pulled into a 7-11 and saw that thing hanging there, i just pushed it back on but i did notice a hole on both i guess there was a plug there or somethign im just going to get a bolt and nut and keep it up there for good

Yeah I tapped a curb at my friends house. I still have to click the panel back in, I'm just too lazy. As for the plastic fixes, what you can do is grab a product called fusor. You can pick it up at your local autobody supply store, the one nearest me is API. Get the smaller tube and a couple tips. The salesman there can probably guide you as to what to buy. You'll also need to buy adhesion promoter and 80 grit sandpaper. The route i just explained is messy, somewhat expensive, and pretty much perminent. Bang out an email to patknights@zoominternet.net or call me @ (724) 968-9640. I took an autobody class for two years in high school. I know a bunch of tips and tricks.:)
