Default Front springs for 1.8 quattro

Looking for new springs and struts but I can't find new front springs. They are coded white and orange. Both springs are broken. I am also going to replace the struts with Bilsteins.

Anyone got any advice? Please.

that will come next year. Gotta do the front struts, springs, tie rod ends and timing belt this year. Next year, rear struts and tires.

Any idea where I can find springs for this car besides the dealer. They say there are 19 different color codes for the spring rate on the car. Doesn't make sense to me why or what difference it makes if I get springs that are for a car with the 1.8t engine 5 speed with the Quattro drive.

Really, any Bilstien struts are going to lower my car?
I just want to replace the struts in the front with stock size, length. I also need new front springs. The color codes on the springs are white and orange. Not sure what spring rate that is.

id take the stocks from audiltr
i thought you meant u were doing blistiens and an aftermarket spring which would lower your car. but just take the stocks theres no real upgrade from just a shock with stock springs

Thanks for the info. I would love to mod the car so it handles better than it does now but that would lead to engine mods then other stuff (including visits with the police). I am sure I would get carried away with this car and go broke.

It's a blast to drive like it is now.

well for startes anytime you want good suspension you start with coils
and if you know your going to drive like a **** might as well keep it as slow as possible to limit the danger on everyone in the world.
