hey guys i just bought a 1997 audi a4, and i cant find a frontmount intercooler for it.
do they even make it for the 97s?????
cause someone told me they only make sidemounts for the 1997s.

help please

 

There are a lot of front mount kits for your car as well as DIY fmic's as well. Make sure you know what your needs and future mod plans are as you could end up replacing an expensive fmic because you did not plan right the first time.

most people get a godspeed fmic or make their own

 

Just depends on who you know. Most of the people I know and that post on other forums run Racetec or ER.

But godspeed is another good choice. As for the ebay one, a lot of people do it but I would not.

 

i hope your NOTthinking about bolting one on right off the bat, dont think thats how it works, you need to do several other mods for a front mount to work on an A4

 

chip, exhaust, dv, and a boost gauge should be your first mods. are you planning on going with a big turbo setup anytime soon?

 

well i got a chip,exhaust,dv, and im still ordering stuff,i just dont know what kind of intercooler 2 get and i couldnt find any. ill prob just end up getting a custom one i guess.
andshould i just keep my stock turbo or get a k04?

 

keep the stock turbo, wasting that kind of money on a 97 is silly to put it nicely.
