Fuse Box and Alternator.
1997 Audi 2.8L v6 AFC engine. I wanted to confirm a few things..
Is there only one fuse box? Is there a fuse for the alternator. What does the battery light on the dash indicate if it is on.

If the battery lights only on all of the time while the keys in the ignition & the cars running.
On mine a APS engine, Valeo 059903015G, or similair alternator.
it was worn out brushes. Cost me NZ$11.90 to buy, inc p&p. Theres a bit of soldering to fit them, about 5 bolts or screws to undo Thats about it, its a easy fix.
You can buy a new brush set & regulator combined unit & fit that instead.For a easyier fix. You can do it from under the car, or i could.
If the lights on all of the time, its probably bad diodes, same part to replace i think.
