Exclamation G2 Supercharged 2.8 VS. 04 Acura TL

Hey guys,

To be honest i am very sorry for putting this up. Its kind of a really noob thing to post. I dont think ive ever posted a 'vs' thread before but i just have to this time.

I KNOW YOUR ALL going to say go to scaudi.com, but im already asking this question over there too.

I was just wondering if anyone has ever driven an 04 Acura TL and how it compares to the Manual G2'd 2.8L 30V A4. The TL i speak of his a 270hp FWD Vtech and weights about 3850lbs. I have driven my dads and i just want to make sure before i drop 2500 on a G2 if it will out power my fathers TL. Anything less and i dont know if i would supercharge.

Just wondering if anyone has ever driven one for comparison, or if you could just tell me what you think.

Again...i have this on scaudi.com too.

Anyone can give an opinion as well.

Yes i know quattro may be a factor.

Thanks alot.

-Anthony

I think as long as your a good driver you will take it. Supposedly the TL never slips tires launching though but thats from a guy at our shop and I don't think I believe him haha. If its true though good chance he would win but its a fwd car its gotta spin tires. I honestly have no facts to base this off of its just an opinion but I hope it helps.

Where to start..... I think the A4 weighs in at about 3800 lbs. so there's no real weight difference. A stock 30v has 197 hp and 200 lb/ft. of torque. PES promises an approximate boost of 100 horse and 60 lb/ft. That'll put it at an approximate 297 hp and 260 lb/ft of torque. So it's possible to take a TL if you get f/i. I don't think you'll completely crush one but you'd probably win.

re you and your father having a pissing contest, or do you just want to make sure you arent wasting your money on something that cant even take a TL?

297 through quattro drivetrain is ~231awhp.. which is right next to what the TL will make to the front wheels, so I think it would be pretty close.. And is that TL the type R one or no?

Its not a type R. And i have bad news, the tires barley chirp with in auto on a launch. Yeah ive pushed his car before lol.

Pissing contest?

But yeah i just want to have something that i can compare the TL too. If i can have that kind of power i will be satisfied. Cause that thing is pretty quick considering its gota fat ***. Speaking of fat asses^nice sig dude. No joke, dont meen to brag but my girl gota *** just like that.
