I just got a victor renz valve cover gasket in the mail from ECS, doing the job this weekend. I think as long as you don't buy it off the back of a U-haul you'll be fine. Anyhoo, I'll let you know how the v/c gasket job goes.

It's a very easy job and unlike the 30v, where the gasket seems too big, it's a direct precise fit on a 1.8T.

i just did a valve cover gasket on my 30v and that **** seemed way too big. i had to get my brother to help me hold the gasket in place cuz it kept popping out of the little groove when i was trying to put the valve cover back on. and then i also broke my breather hose in half it is taped up for now lol
