Was given new turbo! k03 or K04
 

So, one of my buddies bought a turbo, but didn't need it so he gave it to me. He didn't have much info, but wanted to see what you'll thought. Is it a k03 or k04? As you can see it has the 8 fins, but the part number seems weird.

I honestly don't think it's a k03 or k04. On both, if genuine, should have 3 K's in the triangle in the top left of your pic and a blue part number plate in the rectangle partially covered by the feed line. http://www.audiworld.com/news/99/turbo/lo4lko4r1.jpg

If you don't want it I'll toss you a few for the turbo and shipping. Good friend has a turbo shop here in town where we can rebuild it.

Well I have decided to take the plunge and install the turbo. Found out it was from buyautoparts.com and they seem to have a good rep and a good warranty. I have noticed a squealing noise, but I believe that is from water on the belts. Pulls super hard, but I'm just waiting for something to go wrong lol.

Stock fitment? No additional mods beyond just the turbo?
