Done a test pipe with with the stock mufflers?

I'm looking into exhausts and don't want anything with drone. So I thought maybe a test pipe would add just a little growl to the stock exhaust.

Also, does removing the cat mess with the o2's?

would it be a good idea, bad idea? Would I gain anything? Opinions?

 

it will be alittle louder...but i dont really think it would be that big of a noise differance. and yes it would cause a code/check engine light without the proper o2 spacers/cel delete(forget what they are actually called)
why dont you take out the resinator/mid muffler.

what car do you have?1.8t or 2.8?
