well guys, like the thread says, has anyone cut up the front of their stock a4 front bumper to look like the s4 front bumper...i had my old stock front bumper layin around so i attempted it and am thinking about where to go next with it..just wanted to see if i was the only one to ever try this..

 

i have yet to see a cut bumper look remotely good

 

some guy was working on that on audizine, im pretty sure he ditched the project

 

yeah, i don't think you can get that to work, just buy the s4 bumper.

 

i have the s4 front im just messin around to see what i can actually make come of it...too much time on my hands hah

 

What are you going to do with it when you're done? I'd make you an offer IF it looks good.

 

Thought about doing this. I think I am going to just go for the OEM S4 instead. I want the clean look and I don't really see any possible way to do this and have it look good without lots of time and work. You know what they say "Time is money"

 

the bumpers are completely different. you might get the lower part to look similar but you'll never get the clearance of the s4 bumper

 

what do you mean by clearance when i put my old a4 bumper next to my s4 on my car i cant tell any difference between the clearance

 

the s4 bumper sticks out farther so you can fit a much bigger intercooler
