Angry Has Anyone Torn Their Front Valence Off??

Because I almost did!! Long story short, I was going into a bank parking lot in the dark doing around 20 and didn't see the giant dip in front of me. The bumper came a little loose, but nothing major. The lower valence, however, is trashed.

Has anyone had to buy one of these?? If so, from where?? And how much??

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm...I'll search around and see if I can find it. ECS has it for $71, but they want $66 just to ship it. I'll probably go check the parts department at a dealership tomorrow and see how much they want.

I fucked that valence the day after I got the car. It popped off and ripped on one side and I just ripped it the rest of the way off. I don't really care though since I know how to do bodywork and all that ****.

edit: Check local foreign car junk yards. They can be treasure troves.

Really? Come on guy, you have to have read a billion of these parts threads. The advice is the same...junkyard or search online.

My A4 didn't have one when I first bought the car. I had to get one from the dealership (about $100) which is probably going to be cheaper than online since you have to pay for shipping which isn't cheap. BUT if you can find one in a local junkyard that would be sweet.

Oh and now that I sold that car I have seen it around town a few times and its missing the lower valence again. LOL

I'll upload a picture in a little while. My dad went out last night while I had a friend over and trimmed off what was hanging, so it doesn't look as bad as it did. I'm considering buying a Cupra R lip and seeing if I can make it cover up the jacked up part of the valence without looking like total ****, since the lip is only $70 and the valence is $95 from the dealership.

Bitchiness isn't necessary. Thanks.

the cupra lip goes on the lower lip and it's not big enough to cover the area of the stock lip. i bought mine from the dealership and it cost me 150. there are some aftermarket ones available if you're interested in them.

Yeah, I just looked at the lip...not as big as I thought it was. I'll probably just leave the valence in it's jacked-up state until the winter weather passes and then I'll buy a valence from the dealership and, pending funds, paint the lowers.
