One-piece headlights will fit your 1998, but you'll have to grind away part of your fender. It can be done, I did it, but I also had two-piece Depos that you can buy on eBay for about $150 shipped and that don't require any modification. Go for those and a $68.99 HID kit from vvme.com and you'll take years off the front of your A4.

don't mind the language on the pic.

just trim the part in black and fixs perfect

ive looked for the two piece on ebay and i cant find them in chrome i only find black ones. hows the quality one the depos compared to the ones from LLteck.com ??? i know there about twice the amount but id rather pay for one good set !!!! so your saying i dont have to search for 96-98 headlights i can search for 99 to 01 and they will fit with minor trip and wiring ??

Yeah, you really don't even need to do any rewiring, just use the old wiring from the stock lights. I ran Depos for several months and loved them, but they did fog up until I resealed them. I just looked a little bit on eBay and I couldn't find any, but I didn't look very hard. There are, however, lots of one-piece stock-looking lights for like $250/pair. That's not a bad price.

It also seems like the prices of those lights as gone up a lot since I bought mine, so that $150 I've been quoting all of the forum might be a dirty lie. If that's the case, $250 shipped is probably a good price especially since they're 1-piece lights. Depos are only better when they're cheaper.
