Heater core hoses
 

If both inlet and outlet hoses going to the heater core are hot doesn't that mean it is flowing like it is suppose to be? I am not getting much heat coming thru the vents and kind of confused since both are hot like normal. I'm figuring that it could be the thermostat but not sure since it does get above normal from time to time. It is an 2001 A4 with 1.8t. I just replaced the coolant flange recently but it wasn't blowing heat before that. What do you guys think?
