Default Help!!

Hey guys I just bought a 97 audi a4 quattro and i think its freakin sexy!!! i had a saturn before this so huuuuge upgrade. My brother had a 02 a4 and bought it in 04 and it had such a big impression on me i freakin loved it!!! sooooo i had to get one for myself. right now i have only one question... i have the 2.8 liter engine and i have 16 inch tires... i want to get new rims but im not sure of the width the people at a tire store couldnt even tell me..... retards! although im not one to talk cuz i have no clue. if you guys know please inform me!!! thanks!!! Also i am looking to to do some quick upgrades to my car. if you have any ideas please let me know! the car us basically stock tight now but i plan on changing that.

19" wheels are the largest that people seem to run. i ran 235/35/R19s (on stock suspension) and didnt rub very much.

audizine has a very nice wheel gallery

for future reference you might see people talking about the 12v and 30v 2.8 engine- the 97 has 12 valves, 98 and later have 30 valves. and im just going to go ahead and disappoint you now so you dont have to post about it later- there are almost zero performance mods for the 12v. but dont feel too bad, there are only slightly more for the 30v.

Oh thats ok! im not looking to go crazy im only 17! haha if i had more speed i am bound to get more tickets! buuuuut if there are any recommended chips or cold air intake that would be much appreciated. and back to the tire thing, i need to know the width of them because i have brand new sport all terrain tires and i just want new rims that fit the tires.

you have the tires, go read the width that is printed on them and buy rims to match. i have no idea what size tires you have so i obviously cant tell you.

if you already have tires we need to know what size so we could recommend rim sizes. i have found this site to be a great help http://ctny.audiworld.com/mark/a4/calculator/
