i dont really care about performance, i dont race anyway. its just sounds cool. its enough reason for me. do you know how to adjust bov?

I have the exact same valve as you, the forge splitter, you can only make it full dv, full bov, and hybrid 50 50.
you can adjust how stiff the valve spring is by turning the top, here for more details http://www.forgemotorsport.com/conte...duct=FMDVSPLTR

it takes about 100-500 milliseconds to shift for the normal person. running rich for that small amount of time is inconsequential. quite a few people use BOVs without problems. as long as it is closed at idle and only opens when you shift, its fine.

like putting the MAF after the turbo? that would not work because the MAF reads air speed not volume. the ECU computes the volume by measuring the air speed, plus the known size of the MAF opening plus the atmospheric pressure. if you put the MAF after the turbo that would change the atmospheric pressure and the ECU would not know whats going on.

I think the lesson here for all (and we'll all have to say it all again very soon) is that having a BOV just for the "cool sound" is pretty ricey. Honestly, if it is such a hassle, possibly damaging, and the car was designed with a DV, just stick with a damn DV!

Another problem with putting the MAF after the turbo is that the oil that gets by the turbo will coat the MAF and make it need frequent cleanings.

I don't mean to be rude but, why you talk about dv, bov sound and bla bla bla. I am trying to get an alternative to make bov works fine not to argue dv is best or the damage to a car.

I don't mean to be rude, but you asked how to fix it... If you don't like the answers, don't ask the question...
