Ok so i haven't gotten the time to scan it, but i realized that it did this before and whenever i put higher octane in it, like 89 octane, it never really did it. but does it with 87 octane. Do you think the chip is causing that? or its just dieing.

87 is too low, 89 is still a bit low, 91 should be what you put in, at least.

Unless I don't understand these cars, and your tune is set to a certain octane.

Should i fill my tank up and see if it does it again?

Ahh! Who cares what the price is, fill her up!

Hahaha, it might help, but even if it doesn't, don't go back to 87. I use 93 all day everyday.

Haha, well i am a college student, so things can get pricey.
But i will do. i hate putting low octane in my car.
And with the chip in. the higher the octane the more significant the difference was.
So i will let you guys know the result.

BINGO! Use 93 if you got it, 91 if not. You're car will run like crap, especially if chipped, with anything less!

Yeah and think about it, when the price goes up $.10/gallon from one octane to the next, using 93 instead of 87 will cost you an extra $3.20 per full tank, filling from bone-dry. If that amount is a deal breaker, being honest, then you need to get a different car. I'm not talking **** but it's a fact of life with an Audi, a turbo car, or especially a turbo Audi.
