Help me trouble shoot this problem

Alright, that seemed to have solved the problem.
Amazing how gas can affect your car that much.
im a 92 octane guy for life now.

Glad you were able to work that out. I used to have a general idea of how the whole things works (why to use 91 or better), but it's too early, and I can't quite explain it. So, for your own information, do a search and see what pops up. Pretty much, what it boils down to is the higher octane is less prone to detonation, allowing the timing to be a little more advanced, in our high compression engine. The lower octane will start to detonate, the ECU will try to compensate by retarding the timing, then everything just runs like doo-doo.
