Help please!!!!! Really weird behavior, front suspension.
Hey guys i got a loud noise from the front suspension of my 96 A4, is the 2.8 FWD. The weird thing is that the noise only starts after i drive the car a lot, like 30 mins in the freeway, after this a clicking noise starts when i accelerate from stop, or brake to a stop. the noise gets gradually worse and then it does it when i steer, first only when im still and i steer (left or right) slowly but after a while it does it even if i steer fast. I recently replaced the 2 front motor mounts and the passenger drive axle (complete with new CVs). Any ideas, shocks maybe? Control arms. Im clueless. Im pretty sure is suspension related because it makes it also when i go over speed bumps.
I appreciate your help in advance. thanks

can't be wheel bearings if it does it when he's sitting there and turning the wheel. also wheel bearings don't click, the rumble and shake. if it's doing it when you're sitting there, it has to be something with the power steering
Control arms IMO my car doing the same thing. Jack one side of the car and try to move your wheel back and front and if there is any movement try to locate where it is. Im in need of new control arms up front and when i go over speed bumps and stop and go it makes annoying noise from the front.
