No problem at all ... you will need to reprogram the key only if you change the unit.

well i have no power windows, the unit has power to it and the locks work, theres no power to any of the window switches and they all stopped working at the same time. i've checked for fuses broken wires, disconnected connectors and tomorrow im going to get a new unit. so ill have to reprogram my key.

you can do it yourself. theres diy everywhere on the internet, its a matter of putting a key in the ignition one in the door unlocking and pushing lock and some other stuff. you don't have to go to the dealer. i don't think? try searching it.

Sorry to say that but you'll have to go to the dealer ... the DIY you describe does not woks since it's a new module unit ... I know because I try it ... but thanks anyway.
