Default HID problem

So i installed the HID's i purchased from DDM and am having some troubles with them.

before, my lights were more than sufficient to see infront of me, and would light up the whole road, infront, and side to side thanks to the projectors,

and now with the HID's the light beams go in kind of a V pattern, leaving the road directly infront of me completely dark, and the ditch lights up like its day time.

what's the deal here?

you could have the ballast going bad contact them or realign the headlights and see how that works for you

i've aligned the headlights upwards as much as i can to make the beams that are on the ground directly infront of the bumper to go infront of the car.

the ballasts are brand new and i followed the installation instructions for them on their website.

my bulb already went out after having them installed for two months... from ddm. In my opinion they are crap and i wont buy from them again. Not that this helps solve your problem... just felt like complaining lol

i'll give it a shot.
i've seen reverse polarity issues on troubleshooting, but that is when the bulbs do not turn on at all, and mine turn on, they just don't light up the road for ****

Is it possible for you to take a picture of the beam pattern against a blank wall 5 feet from it? Then a picture 25 feet from it. Then a picture of the space on a road in front of your car at night with the lights on from the driver's point of view maybe out the sun roof? It's hard to help you out without seeing what the lights are doing.
