High Mileage A4!

Hello guys! And greetings from the SDiego/Tijuana area.

I've lurking around the forum for quite a bit of time, but I finally bought myself an A4. Its a 1999.5 1.8tq with a 5spd, Hibiscus Red. The thing is... it has around 200k Miles. I checked compression, manteinance etc etc. The car runs like a Champ but needs new Control Arms. On the bright side, it came with a Milltek exhaust!

I sold my 2007 Jetta (In Mexico we still had the MkIV.5 platform at that time and I grew tired of the 2.0 8v.) I bought the Audi for 2.8k so I still have some spare cash to spend on it.

Can the Engine handle BT power with all the wear it has?. Im trying to get around 350awhp. (like 4~~ @ Crank)
I am quite DIY, and have done some work on my brothers KO4 1.8t Jetta.

Saludos amigos!:p

stickies at top will answer all your mod questions - ever
if you say you read tham and still cant find info about the BT your going to get flamed harshly, i promise you its there

but your not going to have to do your rods with that kit, your going to have to buy the associated mods witch wil ltake enough of your money.

You can find cheaper s4's look harder, stage 3 s4's or Nogaro blue S4's are the only ones that should be that high, normally they go for 6 stock. Not necessairly better, personal taste you can make your a4 look exactly like an S4 and make S4 power easily.

I thought if you're pushing more than 300hp you would need rods, anyways, I indeed FOUND all of the BT info, my real question is... can my engine handle it, after 200k miles?

Gonna edit the upper post so I don't get killed lol, thanks bro.

you not pushing shit on a 200k engine unless you have maintained it, chances are the owner before you didnt d owhat they should, Audi is very strict in the maintainennce department. Do a compression and leak down minimum before your gonna start
