Default Hotchkis H-Sport sway bar issue (PICS up!)

Ok, slowly sorting out the issue with my new toy. The previous owner had the car equipped with Eibachs, Bilsteins, and HSport F&R sway bars. There is an annoying clunk in the front end under low speed (parking lot) turns or random uneven road surfaces. The only issue I've found is that the front H-Sport sway bar is rubbing the LCAs on both sides, more on the right side. The endlinks look stock. Am I missing something here or does it seem like I have another issue?

Thanks in advance.

Can you get a picture of where it rubs? The sway bar really shouldn't come within a couple of inches of the LCA.

Yeah, I can post some pics tomorrow. The car is lowered (eibachs) and all the bushings look ok. It almost seems like the endlinks are too short, as if the bar should be rotated downward a bit. I'll snap some pics. I'm probably going to cal Hotchkis tomorrow too.

Man up and get some perrin or ap racing endlinks for the rear of a 02-05(i think) wrx! They're ~10mm longer than stock.

I doubt that's your problem unless your stock endlinks are screwed up somehow.

The rears seem ok, but I was advised to replace them with PureMS's metal versions as the stocks are prone to breaking with the HSport sway bars. Why would I need longer ones in the rear?

My issue is definitely in the front right now. I've dealt with a lot of Audi clunking noises, but this one's kinda weird. The car handles great, but it's more of an annoyance.

ohhh no no, the rears for the wrx bolt up to our fronts. Get a picture of it so we can really see whats going on.

my stock sway bar is very close to mine, but my suspension is also paralell to the sub frame

i'd upgrade those end links, and check your struts to make sure they arent blown

Oh, gotcha! Yes, I do believe I need longer links in the front.

The struts aren't leaking externally and bounce and rebound seems ok. They are Bilsteins with about 20K miles on them according to the reciepts. Pics tomorrow.

it's probably the inner brake pads that are just loose.

No, definitely more than loose brake pads here. I know what sound you're talking about. This is a suspension-related noise. Sorry, no pics yet. Turned out to be one hell of a busy weekend. Maybe Monday. I haven't even had time to call Hotchkis yet.
