Default How to remove the coolant fan

Hello,
does anyone know how to remove the coolant fan on a 1998 2.8l 30V? Do I need to remove the radiator or can I somehow lift it out without? There is a locking screw on top of the assembly but even after removing it I cannot move the fan at all.
Thanks,
Christian

If you're standing in front facing the car, are you talking about the fan on the left or the right?

The one on the left which is the electrical fan (not the viscous fan)
