Hydraulic Fluid

Does anyone know what is the best hydraulic fluid for a 98 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8?

I am not sure what was the original manufacturer steering fluid used but I assume I have to use the same one. Also, I bough the car used so I don't know what type of steering fluid is currently in there but I am assuming that it's the original. Is it best to just flush the whole system and replace it with a new fluid? If so how much fluid will I need?

Thanks!

All 1990 - on Audi models have come filled from the factory with the synthetic CHF 11S Audi power steering fluid (G002000). Please Note: Never mix generic power steering fluid or other fluid with the CHF 7.1 or CHF 11S Audi hydraulic fluid (G002000). If you or someone else did, flush the Audi power steering fluid as described below. (Blau parts)

So, 2 liters of the Pentosin 7.1 is what I would suggest. :)

7.1 is non synthetic, the 11s is fully synthetic. 11s is what comes OEM on audis now and i would suggest using that over the 7.1
