i want an itake
Check the Classifieds forum - seems like there was something there recently. If not, you can buy one on eBay fairly cheap and they work fine (had mine for well over a year and zero issues).
I was doing some research and found that installing a "Cold air intake" really kills the torque on some cars. I had 88 325is and put an intake on it and could instantly tell there was a drop in torque, sounds good but no performance improvements. I replaced the intake with the stock box and bought a K&N air filter for it and worked much better. Also my buddy has a 95 90Q which put on an intake, within a month he swapped back to the stock box with K&N filter because of the noticable torque loss. Also if you are just going for the intake sound, drill a few 1/2 inch holes in the bottom of your stock intake box then put it back togeather, sounds just about the same.
