so are you guys saying the ko4 is a bunk mod
/? or does the turbo have a "out of control" feel/..( not the power but when/ how it boosts)

 

Its kinda like when you have an MBC installed, if you slightly push the pedal to get going it will boost like all hell even if your not pushing the pedal that hard. But if you baby it around just resting your foot on the gas, it won't develop any boost. It just takes a little while to get used to because the k03 and k04 spools so damn fast. So it can kinda feel like the turbo is hard to control VS a large frame turbo like a garrett T3/T4.

 

put a EBC on it and you will be able to control the turbo way more and you can set two boost styles if you like.

 

are the ebc's those things i see people ripping out the cup holder in the dash to put in? like a little box with two or three dials and a small lcd >? good brands?

 

Yep that would be the one and Greddy Profec B II is what I use but there are others which I'm sure some one will chip in with.
